What if my film is already on YouTube without my permission?
That copy pays you nothing. On Fita the same film earns you 85% of net revenue. Listing here is non-exclusive, so it changes nothing about the pirated copy either way - and we can point you to the right takedown process if you want to pursue it.
A TV channel bought rights years ago. Can I still list?
Often yes - many older television deals cover broadcast only, not internet streaming. But the agreement you sign says you hold the streaming rights, so it is worth reading that old contract first. Send it over and we will go through it together before anything goes live.
The songs belong to a music label. Is that a problem?
It is common, and telling us is always better than not. Say so in the listing form and we will help you work out what needs clearing. Be aware the label's permission is something you hold, not something Fita can grant on your behalf.
How do I know I will actually be paid?
Every month you get a statement: minutes watched, your share, and the amount paid - to a bank account verified with a Rs 1 test transfer. Payment follows a 45-day settlement hold. And you can leave with 30 days' notice if we ever disappoint you.
My film only exists on old tapes or damaged prints.
Send whatever exists and we will tell you honestly whether it is watchable. If it is not, we will say so rather than list something that does your film no favours.
